So just what is Pilates

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercises that aim to strengthen all your muscles while improving your posture and flexibility. Movements are slow, controlled, precise using breath control and can be done without any equipment.

Pilates started out as “contrology” by Joseph Pilates in the 20th century, initially for men and is now practised world wide

Who can do Pilates?

The answer is everyone and anyone. The exercises can be tailored to suit each individuals needs. In fact they are fantastic for pre and post natal mums, dancers, sports men and women, and menopausal women.
