  • I started Pilates classes with Melissa back in December 2024, after a friend recommended I join her. Even though I’ve only been attending for a short time, I already feel all the better for it! The classes are small and everybody is made to feel welcome. We have a laugh and all support each other. Melissa is a fab instructor, now I’ve found her I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! She caters to the individual and is a great motivator. She will thoroughly explain each step, along with demonstrations, to make it easy for everybody to follow. Would definitely recommend!! 🙂

Classes are adapted to your ability and needs with different levels of exercises offered throughout. Melissa watches and corrects you as required and this is offered in a supportive and caring way. The chill and relaxation part at the end of each session is perfect just what you need, even when you don’t realise it.   • Melissa is a lovely, kind, and supportive Pilates instructor. I started pilates with her a year ago, as my chronic pain made it hard to do most exercise, but I wanted to keep active, and build up to be able to do more. My pain used to flare badly after every time I rode my horse before I started Pilates, a year later, after putting in a lot of sessions and work, I’ve been getting back into riding and ridden consistently for about 2 weeks with such an incredible reduction in my pain, it is really improving my quality of life, and has been fantastic for my mental health too. With the mindfulness and also just the exercise. Melissa’s classes have a great sense of community, and she ensures everyone feels supported, provides achievable challenges to suit different individuals, and harbours a judgement free environment, full of fun.

She impressed us with her initial quick response to our inquiry and once we had arranged a time to suit everyone, she sent a questionnaire for us to complete on line. On our arrival, Melissa was waiting for us, she was very welcoming and from the beginning of our session, it was evident that she had planned our session with a great deal of thought and consideration to our questionnaire responses. Our session was expertly tailored to our needs and Melissa was open to changing what she had initially planned when needed as well as giving us alternative movements.She also gave us some exercises to do on our travels and followed up with an email. Such a lovely, caring instructor. If we lived in Cornwall we would be regular clients and would certainly recommend Melissa for a personal Pilates/yoga session.
